Houbolt Road Toll Bridge, Joliet IL

In 2023, Highland partnered with the joint venture of Granite Construction, Kenny Construction and Kraemer and Sons, on the Houbolt Road Extension Project in Joliet, IL.  On this high profile toll bridge over the Des Plains River, Highland provided a complete turnkey package including engineering and construction layouts, furnish and installation of approximately 1,200ft of 8" and 12" fiberglass bridge drain, and pipe hangers and supports.  Working through extreme conditions as low as -24 degree, Highland's crew pushed through the elements to deliver the project in 3 weeks.  We continue to partner with the GKK JV ongoing inspection and maintenance of the Houbolt Road Toll Bridge.

✔️Furnish and install approximately 1,200 LF of 8" and 12" fiberglass bridge drain
✔️Installation of approximately 200 ea various roller hangers and pipe clamps
✔️Utilization of an Aspen Aerials A40 and BridgeMaster under bridge access trucks
